Pokemon: Conflicting the Backgrounds (Private for me and Asterisk*)

"Krysta?" Amy asked having no idea what the girl was talking about as she packed her own lunch of sweet berries.

Charise smiled. "Pa's Arcanine and Spark's Ma. Who knows, maybe a pup will gro attached ta ya'll." She said as she went ount back and mounted Glory, who was next to a saddled Windrider.

"You think? A lot of your pokemon are getting attached." Amy said mounting Windrider and trotting behind Charise towards their first chore.

Charise smiled. "Odd thin' is, ya'll befriending tha same Pokemon I did when I was lil'." SHe said as the arrived at the feed silo, where a couple human ranch hands were loading a cart with a couple sacks of feed. "'ey ted! Joe! Mownin'!" She called out.

(Mind doing Ted and joe?)

"Hey Chairse!" Joe shouted waving back. "Good morning." Ted called as well after loading some more feed.

"They aren't talking like your family!" Amy said shocked to find people not speaking in a drawl. "Who were they?" she asked curiously blushing at their size almost developing a crush on both older men.

Charise smiled. "They's some of our city folk ranch hands. Joe, Ted! Ya'll met Amy? She's a city folk who couldn' pay at tha Steakhouse." She said as she hitched Glory to the cart. She chuckled at the sight of Amy's blush.

"Don't tell them I couldn't pay." Amy said trying to cover her red face as the two large men came over.

"My name's Joe, and this is Ted we lived out in Mauville before coming out her to work." Joe said shaking the city girl's head before wiping his brow. Amy giggled like a school girl as she shook both men's hands.

Charise chuckled as she nudged Amy back towards Windrider. "Com'on Amy, ya'll can flirt lata'. Tha Mareep ain' gonna feed themselves." She said as she urged Glory on.

"Oh, um right." Amy said heading back to get back on her colt. "That wasn't flirting." she hissed not liking that Charise so openly said that to the two men. "How old are they anyway, though? I mean I'm just curious?" she said flustered curling her finger through her hair.

Charise smirked. "Joes turnin' 30 this August, an' Ted's 31." She said with a smile as they reached the Mareep and Flaffy corrals, and Charise took a bag of feed out of the Cart.

"R-really? They seem younger." Amy said not that it made any difference as the girl was far too young to be in a relationship with the men. "What do I do?" she asked going to pick up the feed by having difficulty with the weight and accidentally dropping it to the ground. "Oops." she said bending over to pick up the bag again.

Charise chuckled as she stuck a canteen in Amy's hands. "Firs', ya'll need yer Wacan Berry Juice fow 'lectrical protection. Secon', jus' enta' tha corral an' fill tha Mareep's feedin' trough." She said as she took a swig from her canteen and entered the Flaffy corral.

"Alright." Amy said taking a swig of the juice before attempting to pick up the feed again. It took awhile but eventually she managed to fill the trough with the feed. "That was hard." she whined wiping her brow after only carrying the feed a few feet.

However, one Mareep didn't head over to the feed trough, and was quite unique with its Black wool and blue tail orb.

Charise smiled as she Filled the Flaffy's trough. "Ya'll alrigh' ova thar? None ain' shockin' ya'll are they?" SHe asked as she jumped the fence.

"No, I'm fine." Amy said. "Say Charise what's with the black mareep?" she asked pointing at the oddly colored sheep pokemon.

Charise frowned as she walked over and gently pet the black Mareep. "This here's Blackie. He's a bit o' a outcast 'cause o' his color an' his black 'lectricity. I takes care o' him maself." She said as she let Blackie eat some feed from her hands.

"That's peculiar." Amy mumbled, she had seen shiny mareep before, but they were pink, not black like this one. "So, what do we do next?" she asked patting one of the mareep on the head.

Charise stood up. "Now, I gotta teach ya'll how ta milk a Miltank, the ol' fashioned way." She said as a Machamp and Machoke tooke the feed bags in the cart, which Charise got in before urging Glory towards the barn, not noticing Blackie following her and Amy.

"Alright." Amy said hopping onto Windrider's saddle, finding it much easier to get on, and more comfortable than bareback, and followed behind Charise. Amy sighed, doing the chores was pretty boring and yet she couldn't shake the feeling something was following them.

Charise smiled as they reached the barn and she dismounted the cart and headed inside to find the Miltank mostly asleep. "Amy, Follo' me." She said, heading to a wide awake Miltank that was on a little platform on all fours. "Now then, ya'll gonna gently grab her udders, an' pull down an' squeeze at tha same time. Try ta aim fow tha bucket." She said, demonstrating.

"Okay." Amy said dismounting and following Charise to the miltank. "Oh, um alright." she said after being instructed. She sat down on the stool and ent to try it herself only to squeeze and pull a little to gently to get any substantial ammount of milk out.

CHarise chuckled. "Try a lil' harda', or we's be here all day." She teased as she started milking another Miltank, while spark barked and scampered about the barn, nosing the release button on the ball for Amy's Manectric.

"Fine." Amy groaned pulling a little harder this time and getting more milk into the bucket. "H-hey, don't do that!" Amy yelled at the growlithe as her Manectric was brought out of the ball, still sleeping.

Charise chuckled. "Aww, let 'im play. Spark don' mean no harm." She said as she milked.

Spark whined as he went into a submissive position after being yelled at by Amy.

"But Elec likes sleeping in." Amy groaned ignoring the pup to focus on milking the cow pokemon. She accidentally pulled a little to hard out of frustration, hurtig the miltank.
