Pokemon: Conflicting the Backgrounds (Private for me and Asterisk*)

Marigold chuckled. "Don' mind Pa. He's jus' not fond o' Poison types. Says they's tha ones tha' made his teeth fall out." She said, noticing Mary was following Amy everywhere. "Hey dearie, I thin' mary wan's ta go with ya'll." She said with a smiled.

"Oh, well Sludgy didn't mean any harm, she's just curious." she said looking down at Mary. "Do you want to come to?" she asked kneeling down.

Mary smiled and nodded her head as Charise rushed inside. "Com'on ya'll slowpoke! I got Glory all hitched up an' ready ta go! Go get Windrider! I'll put Mary in tha Cart with Spark." She said, leading the Machop to the cart out front.

Marigold smiled at Amy. "Go on then. Don' keep her waitin'."

"Uh right." Amy said pulling out a ribbon and tying her hair up into a ponytail as she left the house. She managed to find Windrider, but had some difficulty getting herself on him.

Fortunately, the colt seemed to understand and lowered himself enough to let Amy on.

Charise was waiting impatiently with the cart.

Amy managed to hop up onto the colt's back and started him trotting behind Charise and the cart. "Um I'm ready to go." she said seeing the impatient look on the girl's face.e

Charise smiled as she got glory trotting up the road. "Ya'll gonna love Ol' Man Zimern. He grows tha best berries this side o' Hoenn." She said as she held onto Glory's reins while Mary waved at Amy from in the cart.

"Is that true?" Amy said confused, Hoenn was a big place, was it really possible the best berries were grown. She looked over and waved back at Mary.

Charise smiled. "He does if I do say so maself." She said with a smiled as about several mintues down the road, they came upon a log cabin and a dirt rod. "'ey! Ol' Man Zimern!" She shouted before turning to Amy. "Ol' man Zimern said 'e used ta be a City ma, befow he moved ou' here and got countrified."

"I'm sure we wouldn't relate. The city changes a lot over a small period of time." Amy said not having a lot of hope in finding someone familiar with the city like her out here.

Charise frowned as she looked at a sign. "Ol' Man Zimern's not home, bu' we's welcome ta tha berries." She said as she drove the cart down the dirt road, until they arrived at an enermous Berry farm, with all kinds of berries, being tended to by Gardevoir wearing aprons over their gowns. "Lemme tell ya'll a lil' secret. Tha Ralts family can take their clothes off."

"You sure it's okay?" Amy said nearly falling off Windrider while getting off. "I know that." Amy puffed her cheeks out. "My mom has a gardevoir."

Charise smiled as she browsed the sweet flavored beeries, taking a couple of the larger Watmel Berries. "I think these make tha best ice cream." She said as she put them in the cart while giving Spark a bitter Rawst Berry.

"These look good." Amy said picking some pecha berries and putting them away as well. "What are those?" she asked pointing at a tree of custap berries.

Charise turned to where Amy was pointing, and began drooling! "Custap Berries! Those are tha sweetest berries i 'eard o'!" She squealed but was limited to one berry per person by the tending Gardevoir. "Aww. Downer is they take a long time ta grow." She said as she put the Custap in a basket. "So, ya'll see anything else ya'll wanna try?"

"Um, no not I think this is enough." she said picking her berry and putting it in the basket.

Charise smiled as she took a Nanab Berry and a couple Magost berries. "So, Wha' all ya'll get Amy?" SHe asked as she put the baskets in the cart.

"Just these." Amy said holding up a baskt full of pecha and mago berries with her custap berry on top. "Are these okay?" she asked hoping she made the right choice.

Charise smiled at how curvy the Mago berries were. "Ooh! These are some nice ones! All sweet berries, perfect fow ice cream!" She said as she put Amy's basket in the cart, when a Gardevoir gave them a medley of Spicy Berries, including an Enigma Berry. Charise chuckled at the blushing Gardevoir. "Tha' gal fancies Max. She's always givin' me this basket fow him." SHe said, setting the Spicy basket to the side and a few Oran berries for the road. "How 'bout ya'll ride on tha cart with me? I think ya'll need a saddle ta get on Wnidrider." She chuckled as she climbed on the seat of the cart.

"Oh." Amy giggled at the way the gardevoir blushed. "Are you sure it's okay? How's Windrider gonna get back if I don't ride him?" she said going over to the ponyta and stroking him.

Charise smiled. "He's a smar' fella. He'll follow tha cart." She said as she helped Amy onto the cart and handed her an Oran berry before having Glory start heading for home. "So, ya'll got someone ya'll fancy back in tha city?"

"Alright." Amy said taking the oran berry and eating it on the way. "Huh? N-no, I don't ahve anyone like that." she blushed actually having someone on her mind.

Charise smirked as she peeled the Oran Berry and took a wedge and bit into it. "So, who ya'll fancy? Is it a guy, or a gal?" She asked as Mary sat next to Amy on the cart.

"What does it matter you wouldn't know him." Amy blushed starting to eat her own berry.

Charise smiled as they reached the Ranch and got down off the cart when Marigold came out. "Ya'll get a good haul gals?" She asked as Mary grabbed the Watmel Berries and Charise grabbed her baskets of berries as Spark jumped down with Max's basket in his mouth.

Julius smiled as he unhitched Glory and let her go in the back of the ranch with Windrider.
