A Mother's Love- Continuation (Private for Dipee Girl and thelonegrunt)

"Ow! Oh, um, baby, you really shouldn't be- Ow!...Doing that to Mommy's hair..." Mary tried to explain, gently trying to move her hands away. She didn't want Sammy to develop a bad habit of tugging at people's hair.
Wanting to break her daughter's fixation on hair brown locks, the boxom woman cooed "How about we play with your toys again baby girl?"

It took bringing up her toys for Sam to stop fiddling with her mother's hair. Perhaps a constant reminder of the badness of tugging at people's hair would serve its purpose in forever making her stop? Mary had did a great job earlier with the whole hide-and-seek situation, so it wouldn't be too difficult to imprint another rule into the girl's head.
"Oh, otay! Wet's pway!" The girl cooed, immediately letting go of her mother's hair and bringing her hands together, crossing them between her padded crotch and curling up in giddy excitement.

Letting out a small sigh of relief when Sam let go of her hair, the motherly brunette cuddled her daughter close and stood up, walking upstairs to the nursery where her daughter's babyish toys were strewn about. She kneeled down, the pampered girl still in her arms. "What do you want to play with sweetie? Your dollies? Plushies? Your rattle or all this other super fun stuff laying around? It's up to you my precious little baby."

The girl looked around the colorful nursery, a finger to her lip to indicate she was trying to choose something. Almost instantaneously, her eyes lit up and she squealed, now escaping from her mother's arms and crawling to the toy chest. She had noticed on top of the pile was a certain raggedy-looking doll named Millie, with buttons for eyes and a smile stitched to its face. The doll looked to be female, as it had light-yellow strings coming out of its head to resemble hair and a blue and white polka-dotted dress along with bright-red feet, signifying shoes.

Millie had always been one of Sammy's favorite toys, a gift given to her by her aunt when she was just a baby. She took her everywhere with her. When younger, the girl was usually seen walking around the house in just a diaper, Millie's hand clutched into her own. Millie was like Sam's best friend in early childhood. The girl could say whatever was on her mind and tell her whatever she pleased, knowing that Millie would always listen and accept what she had to say. She was sharing this relationship with the doll until she had reached 6 years old!
Unfortunately, Sam had accidentally ripped up a portion of Millie when playing one day. She took it to her mother, and Mary, promising she'd make it all better, simply tossed Millie back into the toy box, knowing her daughter wouldn't find out about and the nursery and toys would soon be unused. And sure enough, that's exactly what happened over time. Along with her other toys, Sam completely forgot about her dear playmate.

Until now, of course...

"Miwwie!" The girl cheered, grabbing her long-lost friend in her arms and hugging her tightly, a fragment of her past finally catching up with her.

Mary couldn't help but smile a little as she remembered her daughter's favorite toy, giggling a little as she remembered rocking Samantha to sleep when she was three; the girl clothed in just her night-time diaper and hugging the doll close. It had pained her a little to have to let Sam grow out of Millie, but her and her husband had flaked about it for a while, and decided that it was probably best for the little girl.

Of course, by now, Mary realized that they shouldn't have forced their child to 'grow up' so quickly. Even if she was a little older, it was always clear that Sam just liked being immature. It wasn't until a little bit before the girl's teenage years that her daughter began to 'act her age' per se. It was most likely fear of being made fun of that made Samantha suppress her feelings; as assimilating to the norm was almost necessary to avoid persecution among their peers was common among children reaching middle-school.

Thoughts of rekindling a past relationship in mind, Sam happily crawled back to her mother, the toy still in one hand. Soon enough, however, the girl smiled and clutched both hands around the doll, facing it toward her mother. "Mommy! Mommy! Miwwie's back! I found Mi-" The girl was immediately cut off when she finally noticed it for herself. There appeared to be a large gash coming from the back of Millie's leg, the poor thing's fabric limb dangling to simple threads. Upon seeing the toy ripped up in one portion (and, in her mind, in pain), Sammy immediately brought the doll closer to her and hugged it in desperation, saddened to see Millie in such a pitiful state. Now that she was infantilized, she didn't HAVE to repress her emotions any further, and mood swings could now easily come into light. In this case, the girl started to softly cry and bury her head into the doll's own head, unaware of what her mother had done years before.

Mary didn't remember the cut until her duaghter saw it, and immediately swore under her breath. How could she have been so insensitive? She had to make this right.
The motherly woman gently lifted the diapered girl, maimed doll and all, into her lap and hugged her gently. "It's okay little one...Do you want Mama to fix little Millie?"

Sammy was again heartbroken to see her favorite little playmate in such a terrible condition. She would certainly take her mother up on that offer, for once the woman lifted her back into her arms, the girl once again tightly clutched the doll and kept those same, watery eyes, her lips quivering. "Uh-huh... I dun wanna wose her again... pwease, mommy..." The diapered girl helplessly pleaded, hoping her little friend could possibly make it through this turmoil and be able to play with her once more.

Maragret gave her daughter another assuring cuddle. "Mommy will make it all better baby..." She promised, not wanting to hurt the pampered teen. "I'll take her downstairs and get her all patched up...You just stay up here and play, okay sweetie?"

"O-okay, mommy..." Sam agreed with the same whimpering tone. After the cuddle, Sammy let go of Millie and allowed her mother to hold her now. She then crawled off of her mother's lap and made her way to the corner, where the vast collection of baby toys waited her. However, even with others, her mind was still clearly on the doll now in Mary's hands.
Before she even thought of trying to occupy herself with something else, the girl turned back to the woman. "P-pwomise?" The girl asked once again, still scared of the possible fate of her little friend.

Mary cradled the wounded doll like a baby. "I promise honey." She assured before walking out of the room, closing the nursery door behind her.
She hurried downstairs and laid Millie down on the kitchen table, before rummaging around for her old sewing supplies. After a few minutes of searching, she found the materials she was looking for and sat down with it, her child's toy in front of her.
Tying her hair back like she was about to perform an operation, she got her thread and needles ready and got to work...

The girl sat in her corner for about a minute, simply taking a rattle and shaking at it for a few moments to try and avert her attention away from Millie. But alas, it did not work. Her mind was still heavily occupied with knowing whether her poor playmate would be fine or not. There would be no guaranteeing that her mother would be successful in restoring the toy to its former prime, or at least she thought. This is what tore her up.

She couldn't bare to sit here and think about it for so very long. Suddenly, the girl found herself crawling to the door which was closed shut. As it was fairly easy to grasp onto without trying to stand, the girl got on her knees and grabbed the door handle, twisting it open and pulling the door open. With the obstacle blocked, the girl now crawled to the head of the stairs. She sat there for a few moments, contemplating whether or not she should go down and check to see how the process was going. Her judgement was based around her current attitude; despite her mother's words before about her absolute safety, the girl simply NEEDED to know if Millie was okay...

The girl now tried to stand up, grabbing the guardrail to the side tightly. Very slowly, she started to walk down the stairs, her legs wobbling with every single step. With one step, she actually managed to slip one foot off and lose her footing, landing on her bottom on a step with a thud. For a moment, she lost her breath, the wind being knocked out of her. She opened her lips and try to cry out, but she simply couldn't give herself the energy to do so...

Unfortunately for the babyfied teen, Mary was hard at work downstairs. The sound of her daughter's fall was inaudible to her. Partly because 1: The thick padding around Sam's bum absorbed most of the impact, so it was far less loud; and 2: The sound of the sewing machine drowned out any noise from upstairs. True, the motherly woman had a baby monitor next to her just in case she heard her child cry; but the little girl hadn't cried; so she kept on working.

The girl certainly caught a lucky break with that. After sitting for a few moments to try and regain herself, her mindset was once again focused on the doll, as well as the loud noises being broadcast below past the corner of the stairs.
Instead of risking being hurt once more by standing, the padded girl scooted down each step with her diaper, eventually reaching the tiled floor which met with the front door of the home. Very slowly, she crawled to the area where the sound was coming from which so happened to be the kitchen.
Soon enough, she found her mother, facing away from her and sitting against a counter which so happened to be her area of work. She was literally a few feet away, so much so that she could tug at the woman's leg at any time she pleased. However, she chose not to do so. The noise was louder than ever, so the girl didn't feel like competing with it. Instead, she plopped on her padded bottom and watched her mother at work, hoping her efforts would not be in vain.

The busty brunette continued in her efforts, tirelessly working for about half an hour to try and get the stitching right. Even after fixing the doll's near-severed limb, she took the time to try and touch-up some of Millie's other small rips and wounds. After all, Mary felt very guilty about simply tossing away her child's favorite toy so long ago. Now that Samantha was a baby again, maybe she could redeem herself..

After a while the woman wiped some sweat off her brow and stood up, holding the doll up in the air. "Done." She breathed out happily. Millie was now in visibly better condition than before: looking almost brand new. Sure, she couldn't make it look freshly-made, but the toy was now far better-looking.

Upon hearing the woman speak, Sam's face lit up with curiosity. She wasn't necessarily happy, but she was certainly interested in knowing why the loud noises of the sewing machine cut away and the woman was now speaking and holding something covered up.
"Mommy?" The girl asked in a loud voice from behind, thinking that the woman instinctively knew that she was waiting right behind her.

The girl's mother, of course, hadn't known. She had been too preoccupied with fixing Millie to notice her child had crept up on her.
Margaret jumped in surprise and spun around, almost dropping the mended-up doll. "Baby girl!? What are you doing out of your nursery sweetie?" She exclaimed, currently more surprised and startled then angry.

The girl, forgetting about the possible consequences of stepping out on her own, was too focused on the doll now behind her mother's back than her own safety. To go along with this, the girl now sported a quickly-formed, dark bruise on her lower back, a portion which she landed on on the stairs which temporarily knocked the wind out of her.
"I-I wanted to see Miwwie..." The girl said in retreat, hearing the concern presented in Mary's voice.

"That doesn't mean you disobey Mommy sweetheart...." Mary scolded, still holding the doll behind her back. "You could have really hurt yourself honey...Babies aren't supposed to go down stairs by themselves..." The woman continued, walking around and looking at Samy to make sure she didn't have any bruises. Sure enough, there was one on her lower back. "See baby girl? You've gone and given yourself a boo-boo..." She stated, getting down on her knees so she was only a little higher than Samantha.

Samantha could obviously hear the serious tone that her mother's voice presented. Soon enough, she started to remember what Mary had told her earlier, about being a bad baby and disobeying her. She still thought about the doll, and on occasions tried to look past the woman's back to see her, but her mother's words were what was now circulating in her head.
With shame, the girl looked down, her eyes surprisingly staying dry. She had indeed did a naughty thing once more, but this time she truly realized it. "I'm sowwy, mommy... I'm a bad giwl..." The girl admitted to herself, as if she had just committed the most unpardonable of crimes.

Putting the doll down behind her where Sammy couldn't see, Mary sat back down and lifted the diapered teen into her lap with a sigh, wrapping her arms around her softly. "It's okay my baby...You just need to realize babies aren't supposed to just wander around the house. There's a reason I keep you in the nursery when I'm busy sweetie...It's safe for babies like you to play in there." She explained, assuringly cuddling her. "Now, I know you were naughty, but I know how much you care about Millie, so I guess I'll let this one slide. But the next naughty behavior will give you a punishment. Understand baby girl?"

Once the girl was lifted back up into the woman's arms, her mood had somehow shifted just as quickly as she was picked up from the ground. No longer was she completely in the dumps and frustrated about not having the sense to stay in the nursery where she belonged; if anything, she was glad that her mother understood how eager she was to see the doll, hopefully as good as new.
However, this didn't deter from the fact that Samantha had done a naughty thing. Doll or not, she had bothered to disobey her mother a second time and jeopardized her own safety just for that one little doll. Perhaps it'd be best for Sam if she were given more restrictions in the form of a new, personal barrier, like a large baby gate...
"Otay, mama~" The girl happily replied, just glad she was off the hook yet again but taking her actions into account. After hugging around the woman's neck, she eased her head to the left a little to try and get a glimpse of her childhood friend hidden from her immediate gaze.

Mary hugged her back. "Alright my baby...If you promise to be a good girl...I think I have an old friend you want to see again..." She cooed, pulling the fixed doll out from behind her and holding it out for Sammy. "It's Millie baby girl!"

The girl's face instantly lit up with the most wonderful of smiles. As she giggled, however, something else occurred; her eyes were obviously watering. Her friend was perfectly good as new! She was overcome with emotion and on the verge of crying due to sheer happiness. A few tears came down her cheeks as she grabbed the doll from her mother, wrapping her arms around it and focusing all of her love on it, her tears mixed with her giggles in perfect harmony.
Then her attention went back to the person who made this possible: her mother. Without warning, the girl's arms were wrapped tightly around the woman's neck, Mary's cheek soon to become an open canvas that Sam's lips would paint upon with slobber.
"Tank oo, mommy! I wove oo, wove oo so much!" The girl said, pouring her emotion into having her friend back and the kindness presented to her by her mother.

Mary smiled brightly as she infantile daughter showered her with praise and kisses. The motherly woman was beyond glad she was able to amend her past mistake and repair Millie as properly as she could. "I love you too my little baby princess..." She cooed, snuggling the pampered teenager warmly in her lap. "Mommy was happy to help."
