Many generations have past since the original Link,, Zelda, and Ganon have past. A new royal family have been placed in charge Hyrule including finding a new hero or heroine to protect the inhabitants from all forms of evil that may come to pass. A decree has been sent around all the many areas of Hyrule to find a new hero/heroine and also for a possible trainee to train under the new hero/heroine to keep the line going for ages to come.
