I'll just go ahead and post the same thing I posted in another forum and if any of you know anything or have any advice,I would appreciate it -^^-
Ok,even though I'm 14,I like to plan ahead and know how to do things in my future,so I was wondering...
How would i go about opening up a tea-shop/cafe kind of thing? ^^; I really enjoy those kinds of places and me and my girlfriend have agreed that we are going to move to japan in the future and own one. Before someone tells me my dreams are un-realistic and such,I've already been to japan for a 2-week long amount of time and I LOVE it. And I definitely have the money,my family is rich,we take vacations to germany, carribean, etc. every year just for the heck of it,and my parents agreed to help me with my dreams,so here's what I want to know...
1.What should I do to get ingredients for tea? Do I contact the tea plantations directly? And then do I serve it as just that tea,or do I mix and stuff for my own, original tea?
2.Pastries. Me and my girlfriend are of course going to serve sweets along with the tea, since sweets and tea go together so nicely, but I was wondering if I should go to a college were I could get a degree in that type of thing(and probably management. In the end, this does seem like the smartest option, but input is still appreciated!)
3.Employees. This is going to be a small, tranquil kind of shop,I enjoy that feel alot, but I was wondering what I should do about hiring employees? Would I be just fine with me and my girlfriend or should I hire one or two people for part-time?
4.Uniforms. I've been putting plenty of thought into this one. Right now I have a friend that should be working on a design, but I think she forgot about it. I was personally thinking of contacting a fashionista once I was in japan(one that owns a shop in the same district) and getting her to design the uniform. Is that a good idea? and if so,how should I re-pay him/her,sponsorship,cash? I was also thinking of having cosplay and maid outfits on special days/weeks,anyone else think that's a good idea? (me and my girlfriend both have pretty good figures,so nothing to worry about not being able to pull it off ^//^)
oh and....if anyone knows japanese, could you tell me a good way for me to learn it please? ^^; I've tried contacting possible tutors and etc. who should be able to teach me japanese, but the only possible tutor was from a nearby college(which I have been to many times) and she/he is away in china for two years. I could probably learn it on my own,but that would take longer than I would like.
